Saving the critically endangered Blue Throated Macaws from extinction.

Barba Azul USA is federally recognized and Washington State registered 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to saving critically endangered Blue Throated Macaws from extinction. With as little as 200 birds remaining in the wild our organization’s goal is twofold:

1. To establish genetically diverse pool to guarantee species continuation even in case of critical event disaster in their native range and
2. To establish breeding pool with goal to repopulate areas of currently uninhabited areas of former habitat in cooperation with Bolivian NGO’s dedicated to preserving these birds.

Our goal is to raise enough funds to enlarge outdoor aviary and establish breeding boxes/environment for propagation and also acquire additional breeding stock.

And since Barba Azul USA (blue beard) will not engage in any form of commercial breeding, we are very dependent on public support. Any donation, monetary or in form of auction items will be greatly appreciated and is TAX DEDUCTIBLE!
